Sworders January Design Sale

Explore an eclectic array of design treasures in Sworders' January sale, which kicks off with selections from the collection of renowned architect and designer Rabih Hage, featuring works by 21st-century design icons like Piet Hein Eek and Karen Ryan.

Other notable additions include one of Italian polymath Carlo Bugatti's earliest creations: a pair of doors crafted in 1880 for the occasion of his sister’s wedding.

Another favourite is the 'Broken Cabinet,' an intricate, cut, and polished steel piece creating a shattered glass illusion by Maria Pergay, a pioneer in French Post-War design.

The extensive catalogue, spanning over 300 lots, showcases more than 140 years of invention. Viewings take place at the Stansted Saleroom from January 12th, with the auction scheduled for January 16th.

Property Staging

We love any excuse to go to the ancient port of Ramsgate, so our latest Modern Shows® Property Staging for Inigo was an absolute joy to do even in the depths of Winter. Empty apart from the developer’s light fittings we came up with a plan of how best to showcase the beautiful harbour-view property using a mix of midcentury, modern and antique on Inigo’s website. The staging included a collaboration with Gina Cross, art dealer and artist whose work can be seen in the photo.
