Since 2022, Ælfred has called it's warehouse in Hackney Wick home.

It's mission is to bring beautifully crafted, iconic Nordic furniture from the mid 20th-century into the spotlight. Everything in Ælfred's collection has been sourced from Denmark and curated by the team with quality, craftsmanship, and character in mind.

Ælfred's aim is to provide quantity as well as quality, with it's warehouse exhibiting a vast variety of wonderful pieces. From countless gorgeous pieces of furniture to a stunning glassware collection, as well as a host of smaller homeware items from kitchenware to paintings. In typical mid-century fashion you will find that function and beauty encompass all the pieces Ælfred offer.

As well as stylish design, the team at Ælfred is deeply passionate about the sustainability of buying vintage. Not only does it benefit the environment but contributes to the longevity and history of modern design.
